More pride in hockey than in parliament.

A recent poll shows that Canadians have more pride in their national sport than they do in their national parliament. I found the results of the poll interesting, but not really surprising. I personally have far more pride in the top three than I do in the bottom three.

The results in order:

  1. The Flag (86%)
  2. The Armed Forces (80%)
  3. Hockey (71%)
  4. The Economy (62%)
  5. Multiculturalism (61%)
  6. The State of Democracy (57%)
  7. Bilingualism (52%)
  8. Aboriginal Culture (51%)
  9. The Health Care System (50%)
  10. The Justice System (42%)
  11. The Monarchy (36%)
  12. Parliament (32%)
